Simon Hazlitt, has worked in a variety of commercial and military roles and was one of the first in the world to employ cloud services in an enterprise setting.
In 2002 he co-founded Majedie Asset Management, building its enterprise-grade systems using cutting edge Application Service Provision, later to be coined “Cloud”. Majedie has gone from strength to strength using this architecture, earning plaudits from customers and industry pundits alike.
In 2008 Simon first published “Running on Air”, a book designed to set out how a modern business could use the new tools available in the cloud to transform itself.
On his retirement from the City in 2016, Simon has worked for the military, building a social network for a regiment and configuring a cloud-based management system for the regiment to manage its non-operational business across its many locations in the UK.
Simon founded Supl in 2018, a company dedicated to helping companies make the best use of the Cloud.
